About

The acronym S.T.E.M., (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) describes the incorporation of these essential skills and interests in our rapidly developing world. Scholastic institutions throughout the country and on an international level seek to encourage and cultivate young people with a passion for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Thus far, however, there has been a conspicuous absence of the arts; that is what is being addressed with Project S.T.E.A.M.

Project S.T.E.A.M. recognizes that the inclusion of the visual is an essential part of the process of not only creating the next generation of scientists, engineers, and mathematicians, but also in cultivating well-rounded human beings. Each individual aspect of the S.T.E.A.M. acronym is necessary in order to excel in the other fields. It is our hope that by encouraging students to express themselves through all manner of their skillset and interests that Project S.T.E.A.M. may encourage a generation of imaginative thinkers with the capability to innovate, create, and cultivate their dreams.
